About Me

Hi, I'm Julia, a qualified BACP Registered Humanistic Therapist. I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential space where we can explore together what matters most to you, working collaboratively to make sense of your life experiences and the way you see the world.
I pay attention not only to what you say, but to how you say it — your tone, your body language — because so much of our inner world is communicated beyond words. My aim is to truly hear you, helping you to understand your feelings and gently notice any patterns that may be holding you back.
We will work together at a pace, depth and duration that feels right for you — whether that means short-term focused support or longer, more open-ended exploration. This process can foster greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence and a deeper sense of empowerment.
Sometimes words alone are not enough, and I welcome a more creative approach when that feels helpful — whether through a sand tray, music, writing, images or drawing. The choice is always yours.

I understand the first step to seeking support can feel daunting.
